Dr Jones grew up on a farm in Tennessee in the 60's and 70's where they raised their own vegetables in the garden. They raised their own cattle and hogs and used those animals for their meat supply. They ate fresh caught fish from the nearby freshwater lakes and the pond on their farm.
His uncle had a dairy as part of the farm as well providing fresh whole milk that was grass-fed and unpasteurized.

I even remember that in the spring time, there would be a couple of weeks that the milk had a mild onion flavor as the cows would graze on wild onions in the field." Now that was fresh whole milk.

Today, just walk through a grocery store and just try to figure out how that food is raised. Most of our food is mass produced by agri-chemical companies - using engineered seeds (genetically modified (GMO)) and cancer causing herbicides and pesticides. The list is long as to the various foods that are most likely contaminated. Fruits and vegetables that should be full of vitamin and minerals your body needs also contains synthetic chemicals designed to kill other plants and insects. The conventionally raised meat from feedlots in the mid-west has been fed a cocktail of GMO grain and "healthy" doses of antibiotics, which then get pasted down to you, the consumer. No wonder we are sick in this country from chronic disease by eating this "stuff."
In addition to the food, our water we drink has trace amounts of everything we flush down the toilet (pharmaceuticals) along with chlorine and it's by-products. The air we breathe is filled with various chemicals from factories and car exhaust to the smoke drifting in from forest fires. Our furniture and new cars and carpeting and paint are off-gassing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like formaldehyde which is hazardous to our health.
There is Good News, however.
Knowledge is key. By being aware of the problems, we can come up with a plan to not only to help you avoid some of the toxins in your environment, but to support you in getting the toxins out as your body was designed to do.
